Energy Work of the Neophyte RitualBy Demian Murphy General The Hierophant sends energy to the Hegemon and to the Pillars. The Hegemon receives energy from the Hierophant from the pillars, and directs it into the altar, as well as distributes it to the Stolistes, Dadouchos and Kerux. The Hiereus sends energy to the altar. The altar radiates energy throughout the temple in a clockwise spiral, which is amplified by circumambulation. During the knocks, the Hierophant sends energy to the Hegemon, who sends it to the Hiereus. Setting up the Godforms The astral shells of the Godforms of the ritual must be set up by the Hierophant. This is done by formulating Kether above the head, vibrating AHIH, bringing the light down to the Tiphareth center, vibrating the name of the God, then projecting it out into the proper station. Remember to absorb it all back in (or disperse it, which has basically the same effect) when the ritual is over. Opening The Hierophant knocks, sending energy to the Hegemon, who sends energy to Hiereus. Dadouchos sends current to Stolistes, resulting in an equilateral cross whose center is the altar. Consecration The Stolistes and Dadouchos are always opposite each other. Each should be aware of the other's position, and they should arrive at opposing quarters of the temple simultaneously. The Hegemon must balance out any inconsistency between them. Circumambulation Zalewski recommends circumambulating inside of the parameter of the Pillars to pick up on the energy of the altar - never done it this way myself, might be interesting to try. Adoration With each Adoration the Sign of the Enterer is directed towards the Hierophant's throne, intended to rend asunder the Veil of Paroketh and causing an influx of energy from Tiphareth ("the second order"). The Sign of Silence is given as a sign of receptivity, to allow the energy in. The Mystic Words ("Khabs Am Pekht", etc.) fortify the energy from Tiphareth and seal it within the temple and the aura of the officers. The Hegemon distributes the energy to the Stolistes, Dadouchos and Kerux. Removal of Elements from Altar This is done in a spiral to expand the energy from the altar to the perimeter of the temple. Never walk counter-clockwise while doing it! Also symbolically divides the candidates aura into its 4 constituent parts, and delivers them to the quarters of the temple for purification. Zalewski claims that this is absolutely important, and that the elements from the altar (the parts of the candidates aura) must be linked to the elemental forces (or more specifically, to the sons of Horus, which are technically in the corners, but cover the whole of each quarter of the temple) by the Kerux in order for the initiation to have full effect. Admission of the Candidate The Hegemon opens the Portal and leads candidate to the edge of the Portal. The candidate is purified and consecrated, then brought through the Portal. The Portal has to be re-sealed by the Stolistes, Dadouchos and Kerux--otherwise it's like disrupting any other ritual circle and energy tends to leak out. Oath The Hiereus’s sword and the Hegemon's wand are used to activate and open throat chakra. The sword goads the candidate to further action, and the Hegemon's wand instills balance and neutrality (True Will being beyond considerations of good and evil). Circumambulation of the Candidate Barring in the South: The Kerux's wand is held by the yellow section (Air), and the red section (Fire) is placed over the candidate’s heart chakra. The Kerux directs Fire energy into candidate's aura through the heart chakra. Hiereus in the West: The Hiereus threatens the candidate, then transmits courage and strength. The idea is to plant seeds in the candidate's aura that will enable him/her to overcome fear on the path. Baring in the North: The Hegemon bars the candidate with his arm; the Kerux merely waves wand in front of candidate. Hierophant in the East: Hierophant transmits energy from Tiphareth into candidate’s aura, stressing balance and clarity. Sealing of the Candidate’s Aura With the Mystic Words, officers send energy through their wands to create a point of force above the candidate’s head, which descends over the candidate in the form of a tetrahedron. The Final Consecration When the rope is removed and the candidate is between the pillars, the officers visualize a white triangle on candidate’s forehead. Circumambulation in the Path of Light When candidate passes the Throne of the East, a red calvary cross is visualized above his/her head (above the white triangle). Replacing the elements onto the altar Should be done exactly opposite from the way they were removed.
