Temple
- The 2=9 sign invokes the powers of Air. It is the sign of Shu, the Egyptian god of Air, who holds up the heavens.
- The Cubical Cross is the Zelator's physical link to the Air energy of the temple. It is placed upon the Air altar in the East during the Opening and then given to Zelator to carry through the rest of the ritual.
- Pentacle of Earth placed on Air Altar.
- Officers stationed in the quarters, forming a Tau cross with the Altar at the center.
1. Opening
- Temple opened and members tiled.
- Tau cross of Officers moves toward East for invocation.
- Hierophant invokes element of Air in Qabalistic and Enochian systems.
- The circle, cross, and invoking Active Spirit Pentagram are visualized in white light. The Invoking Air Pentagram is visualized in yellow.
- The Air Tablet is activated when Hierophant intones Great Name of Power and the name of the Elemental King (in Enochian.)
- Hiero also invokes Asherah, and Shaddai El Chai, god-names of Yesod.
- Temple declared open in Theoricus, sealed with knocks (333-333-333).
- Universe trump on altar, representative of Path of Tau.
2. Advancement in the Path of Tau
- Kerux distributes Fan, Lamp, Cup, and paten of Salt to quarters.
- Hegemon leaves temple, hoodwinks Zelator, gives him Cubical Cross, and brings Zelator into the Hall.
- "Quit the Material and seek the Spiritual."
- Zelator led between pillars to East, tiled, swears Oath, and hoodwink is removed.
- Kerux takes charge of Zelator. Hiero gives Zelator the Banner of the East.
- Zelator led clockwise to Eastern Gate.
- Hiero challenges with Fan and Banner of the West.
- Purified by Air and passes on.
- Zelator led to Southern Gate.
- Hegemon challenges with Lamp and Banner of the West.
- Purified by Fire and passes on.
- Hegemon takes charge of Candidate, while Kerux returns to station.
- Zelator leads to Western Gate.
- Hiereus challenges with Cup and Banner of the West.
- Purified by Water and passes on.
- Zelator led to Northern Gate.
- Kerux challenges with paten of Salt and Banner of the West.
- Purified by Earth and passes on.
- Hegemon leads Zelator to Hiero in East. Banners replaced on dias.
- Kerux puts Fan, Lamp, Cup, and paten of Salt on Altar.
- Hiero explains Cubical Cross.
- Hiero leads Zelator to West of Altar, explains Universe trump, and returns to throne.
- Four Officers recite Powers of the Sphinx and knock with Zelator in center of Elemental (Tau) Cross.
- Kerux leads Zelator out of Temple.
3. Temple changes
- Pillars moved back to West of Altar.
- Banner of the West moved to NW. Banner represents Earth. Banner also represents Path of Tau and Sephira of Malkuth, which are now behind the Zelator.
- Diagrams set up: Three Paths from Yesod, Air Tablet, Kamea of the Moon, Seal of the Moon, and Luna on the Tree of Life.
4. Advancement to Yesod
- Kerux leaves temple, gives Zelator Caduceus Badge, and instructs in the knocks (333-333-333).
- Hegemon admits Zelator into Temple.
- Hiereus challenges Zelator in the West. Admits with Caduceus Badge.
- Zelator placed West of Altar, in center of Tau Cross. Hiero explains Temple and Flaming Sword diagram.
- Officers perform Middle Pillar ritual on Zelator, visualizing spheres in proper location and color.
- Hiero comes to West of Altar and instructs Zelator in Sign, Grip, Grand Word, Mystic Number, and Password of Theoricus.
- Hiero brings Zelator to East of Hall, explains Three Paths, Air Tablet, Kamea of the Moon, Seal of the Moon, and Luna on the Tree of Life.
- Zelator seated near Sentinel position, proclaimed Theoricus.
5. Closing
- Hall closed with Elemental prayer of Air.
- Hiero makes Banishing Circle and Pentagrams.
- Temple declared closed, sealed with knocks (333-333-333).
